2013-2019 POLICE INTERCEPTOR UTILITY FITMENT & INSTALLATION

This Rock Solid Phone Mount is designed specifically for the Ford Explorer Police Interceptor with the open dash area (see images).

INSTALLATION NOTE: RubiGrid® requires the removal of the dash tray followed by drilling 2 holes to properly secure our platform to the dash. Our base takes advantage of 2 bolts already found in the dash.

Nice and sturdy. Easy to install.

Easy to install. Everything you need comes with the mounting system. You will literally not have to use any tools of your own to install this.
Maybe it was just that I am such a swell person that I got swag with my order. Highly unlikely, I bet you get some too. Got a big bullet bottle opener, key chain with a bottle opener (got to have options}, a cool sticker and patch.
The only downside is that I didn't order two mounts at the same time. I have to get a tablet mount. Another thing about this mounting system is the actual holder for my phone. This thing has a grip like you will not believe.
When you take a look at this mounting system (you will), check out all the options that are available for so many different vehicles. The Jeep setup is awesome.

A MUST HAVE!!

This is by far the best mount I’ve ever had, easy to install, and looks amazing. FYI, take you time to get everything set where you want it with the arm mount location then tighten everything up. Also, it came with a 2” arm but you get an extra inch with the arm mounts (2) so really it’s around 4”… if you’re looking for a mount this is it. Go check them out!!! Will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good mount!!!

If purchasing any of our pre-built configurations (except for Base only), you will receive everything you need to securely mount your devices.

If you opt for the base only configuration or wish to add additional devices to the RubiGrid® base, you will need 1 AMPS ball, 1 mounting arm and 1 device holder. The exception is the action camera mount where a mounting arm is not necessary.

Our DiabloM6 magnetic phone mount requires a thin metal plate affixed to the back of your phone (even on MagSafe-equipped iPhones).

Please note that this also prevents Wireless Charging.

If you require wireless charging, we offer 2 wireless charging options: our MagSafe-compatible Wireless Charger or our Wireless Phone Charger with Motorized Cradle.

The metal plate features adhesive on the back and must be attached to your phone or case. It may not stick to all phone cases. For example, many silicone cases have non-stick properties that may not work with the metal plate.

If you have a MagSafe-compatible phone and you do not want to apply the metal plate or you wish to maintain wireless charging functionality, we offer a MagSafe-compatible phone holder.
