PRODUCT UPDATE: as of 1/30/2024, this is v2 of our RubiGrid® dash mount which features a new and improved 2-piece design to easily add/remove/adjust AMPS balls for device placement along with a slightly thicker RubiGrid® platform for added stability.

Our RubiGrid® 4Runner Dash Mount installs on the bezel above your radio. It's perfectly positioned above your radio without obstructing your view of the road or blocking your air vents. Your devices are always within reach when you need them.

RubiGrid® is a fully modular dash mounting platform that uses AMPS mounting balls.
Mount multiple devices and easily change the configuration and location of your mounting balls to dial in your perfect setup.
Whether you need to mount phones, tablets, action cameras or radios, RubiGrid® can handle it.
In fact, RubiGrid® for the 5th Gen 4Runner can mount up to 6 devices!
Our RubiGrid® dash platform is capable of securely mounting multiple devices and is compatible with both our AMPS Mounting Balls as well as 3rd party AMPS mounts.
Recommended Mounting Arm Lengths for the 4Runner RubiGrid® dash mount:
- Phone Holders: 1cm Mounting Arm
- Tablet Holder: 4cm Mounting Arm
4RUNNER DASH MOUNT INSTALLATION
Installation requires the removal of the radio as well as AC controls and the drilling of 5 small holes in the radio bezel. This ensures a rock solid installation in your 4Runner with the ability to easily support multiple devices.
All required installation hardware, instructions and tools are included with the exception of a drill. We even include the necessary drill bits!

I love this set up! I was looking for a way to mount a trail radio then decided that I might as well mount my phone too. Once everything was installed I was impressed at how good it looks and how well it works!! I will be returning for mounts for my other vehicles soon!

Just got it installed, love it. Rock solid. I did have to drill out a small grove on passenger side where platform was hitting dash not allowing the dash insert to clip back down. No big deal but added some time to install. I love the sturdiness of this thing

If purchasing any of our pre-built configurations (except for Base only), you will receive everything you need to securely mount your devices.
If you opt for the base only configuration or wish to add additional devices to the RubiGrid® base, you will need 1 AMPS ball, 1 mounting arm and 1 device holder. The exception is the action camera mount where a mounting arm is not necessary.

Our DiabloM6 magnetic phone mount requires a thin metal plate affixed to the back of your phone (even on MagSafe-equipped iPhones).
Please note that this also prevents Wireless Charging.
If you require wireless charging, we offer 2 wireless charging options: our MagSafe-compatible Wireless Charger or our Wireless Phone Charger with Motorized Cradle.

The metal plate features adhesive on the back and must be attached to your phone or case. It may not stick to all phone cases. For example, many silicone cases have non-stick properties that may not work with the metal plate.
If you have a MagSafe-compatible phone and you do not want to apply the metal plate or you wish to maintain wireless charging functionality, we offer a MagSafe-compatible phone holder.
