This 2-piece mount features an aluminum 20mm connector end which attaches to any 20mm ball mount along with an interlocking fastener strip with adhesive for your radar detector or small device.

Simply peel away the adhesive covering and attach it to your radar detector (make sure the surface is clean). The connector end attaches to any 20mm ball mount including any of our AMPS balls.

Although the concept is a great idea the fastening system could be improved. Like others have said, the radar detector will become detached too easily. That being said, I like the fact that it's not mounted on the windshield and is much closer to reach without stretching. I most likely will replace the interlocking fastener strip with 3M double sided tape to see if that secures it to the base better.
I bought this to hold my dash camera because the mount it came with falls off the windshield in Texas heat. So far so good. I love Bullet Point products
