Product Update: as of February 27, 2024, this is v2 of our RubiGrid® dash mount which features a new and improved 2-piece design to easily add/remove/adjust AMPS balls for device placement along with a slightly thicker RubiGrid® platform for added stability.
Built and designed specifically for the 2015-2022 GMC Canyon & Chevrolet Colorado (with or without the Bose sound system), our rock solid dash mount installs securely into the dash of your truck and provides a solid and reliable mounting point for your devices.

WHAT IS RUBIGRID®?
RubiGrid® is a fully modular dash mounting platform that uses AMPS balls, mounting arms and device holders to secure all of your devices.
Mount multiple devices and easily change the configuration and location of your mounting balls to dial in your perfect setup.
MORE THAN A PHONE HOLDER
Although this dash mount is designed to hold your phone, it can do much more than that. Whether you need to mount phones, tablets, action cameras or radios, RubiGrid® can handle it.
In fact, RubiGrid® for the Canyon / Colorado can mount multiple devices!
We sell AMPS Mounting Balls separately but you may also choose to secure a 3rd party AMPS-compatible mount here as well.
METAL SERIES
A rock solid mounting system starts with a rigid mounting base. Our bases are made from precision laser cut metal which results in a solid foundation and an OEM-like fit.
STURDY MOUNTING ARM
The Strong Carbon Fiber and Kevlar Arm resists bending and helps keep your device securely in place. Our device holder kits include 4cm mounting arms.
Note: due to the presence of kevlar, the mounting arm has a subtle blue hue in direct light.
INSTALLATION
Requires removal of the radio bezel (trim tool included) and the use of 6 self-tapping screws to properly secure the back portion our mount in the small dash tray behind the radio.
It may be necessary to make two small notches in the radio bezel where the front support brackets of the dash mount sit to ensure proper clearance, allowing everything to sit flush during reassembly. Installation also takes advantage of 2 additional OEM bolt holes already found in your truck which secures the front of the dash mount.
The result is a truly rock solid mount for your devices. All hardware is included for a straightforward installation.
DEVICE HOLDER CHOICES
Depending on your needs, we offer a variety of phone holder options including spring-loaded, magnetic, MagSafe-compatible and wireless chargers.
Note: if you wish to add additional device holders, you must have an AMPS ball for every additional device holder. We recommend using 4cm mounting arms.

Don’t let this review discourage from buying this awesome product just wanna say it wasn’t a simple drop in, had to fully disassemble the mount and screw the base first, then when assembling it back had to keep all the screws loose to get the proper fit. And the also the trim doesnt fully seat all the way, the top clips dont clip in where the bracket bolts to the dash. Other than that, 12/10 product . VERY sturdy worth every penny

If purchasing any of our pre-built configurations (except for Base only), you will receive everything you need to securely mount your devices.
If you opt for the base only configuration or wish to add additional devices to the RubiGrid® base, you will need 1 AMPS ball, 1 mounting arm and 1 device holder. The exception is the action camera mount where a mounting arm is not necessary.

Our DiabloM6 magnetic phone mount requires a thin metal plate affixed to the back of your phone (even on MagSafe-equipped iPhones).
Please note that this also prevents Wireless Charging.
If you require wireless charging, we offer 2 wireless charging options: our MagSafe-compatible Wireless Charger or our Wireless Phone Charger with Motorized Cradle.

The metal plate features adhesive on the back and must be attached to your phone or case. It may not stick to all phone cases. For example, many silicone cases have non-stick properties that may not work with the metal plate.
If you have a MagSafe-compatible phone and you do not want to apply the metal plate or you wish to maintain wireless charging functionality, we offer a MagSafe-compatible phone holder.
