Our DiabloM6 magnetic phone mount requires a thin metal plate affixed to the back of your phone. Please note that this also prevents Wireless Charging. The DiabloM6 is not directly compatible with MagSafe equipped iPhones.
The metal plate may not stick to all phone cases. For example, many silicone cases have non-stick properties that may not work with the metal plate.

Magnet is GREAT! Self Adhesive plates..... Not so much.
I live in Nevada and Arizona, where the heat of the summer can melt the sticker off of your license plates. Even knowing this, I was hoping the self adhesive plates, to adhere to your phone or tablet, would be sufficient to attach and go.... alas they're not. I replaced the original adherent with some VHB tape and it worked out fine but was I expecting too much? Other than that the unit is fantastic.

Rock Solid
This is the second arm I purchased. My wife wanted her own on the passenger side. Just like the first one I purchased it is rock solid; the phone doesn't move.

Best phone mount ever, held my heavy Pixel 6 Pro in my Jeep even when bouncing up Rocker Knocker obstacle on Pritchett Canyon trail in Moab. That's a strong mount.
