WHAT IS RUBIGRID®?

RubiGrid® is a fully modular dash mounting platform that uses AMPS mounting balls.

Built specifically for the 2023+ Ford Super Duty (equipped with both 8 inch and 12 inch screens), mount multiple devices and easily change the configuration and location of your mounting balls to dial in your perfect setup.

Whether you need to mount phones, tablets, action cameras or radios, RubiGrid® can handle it.

INSTALLATION

Requires removal of rubber dash mat (not reused) along with removal of plastic dash tray. In order to properly secure our platform to your vehicle's dash, installation requires drilling 5 small holes and the use of 2 self-tapping screws in the plastic dash tray.

From there, secure the AMPS ball anywhere along the RubiGrid® platform followed by attaching the mounting arm and device holder to create your customized command center.

All necessary hardware is included with the exception of a drill.

Bulletproof setup

Received my order in short order. Great guidance on the install. I would add, be very careful prying the factory B&O speaker cover off, it’s really on there tight and whatever pry tool you use (the one provided in the BP kit may not be enuf), be sure to use a some sort of protection under the prybar or else you will damage the dash area around the speaker/tray area. Other than that, great install of a quality mount, very solid and well made. The MagSafe wireless chargers work great, no complaints! Thanks Bulletpoint!!

Heavy Duty

I raise horses so I constantly driving across rough pastures and fields. This mounting system is incredibly heavy duty. Does an excellent job of keeping everything secure. And as an added plus: looks good! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great product not 100% sturdy

This dash mount is awesome except for the screws that hold it down aren't enough to keep it from moving a little within the plastic. This would have been a lot better had there been a bracket underneath to help stabilize it. I have a phone and iPad on there and the plastic on iPad side definitely flexes a little.

Much harder to install than described but well worth the effort once completed

If purchasing any of our pre-built configurations (except for Base only), you will receive everything you need to securely mount your devices.

If you opt for the base only configuration or wish to add additional devices to the RubiGrid® base, you will need 1 AMPS ball, 1 mounting arm and 1 device holder. The exception is the action camera mount where a mounting arm is not necessary.

Our DiabloM6 magnetic phone mount requires a thin metal plate affixed to the back of your phone (even on MagSafe-equipped iPhones).

Please note that this also prevents Wireless Charging.

If you require wireless charging, we offer 2 wireless charging options: our MagSafe-compatible Wireless Charger or our Wireless Phone Charger with Motorized Cradle.

The metal plate features adhesive on the back and must be attached to your phone or case. It may not stick to all phone cases. For example, many silicone cases have non-stick properties that may not work with the metal plate.

If you have a MagSafe-compatible phone and you do not want to apply the metal plate or you wish to maintain wireless charging functionality, we offer a MagSafe-compatible phone holder.
