4-Hole AMPS Mounting Plate with 20mm Ball Mount + Metal Backing Plate (includes Installation Hardware)

This 4-Hole AMPS Mounting Plate with Integrated 20mm Ball and Metal Backing plate is perfect for heavy duty installations where the back side of the mounting surface is accessible.

The AMPS Ball sits on top of the mounting surface while the backing plate sits underneath the mounting surface and the 4 Allen bolts tighten the entire system for a rock solid foundation for your device.

APPLICATIONS

When we designed this kit, we had semi trucks, golf carts, lawn tractors and boats in mind. With any of these applications, a sturdy, flat panel or mounting surface (with access to the back side) allows for the AMPS plate to be securely installed.

HEAVY DUTY INSTALLATION

Installation requires drilling 4 holes and access underneath the mounting surface (ex: dashboard, dash panel). The included metal backing plate with threaded holes provides additional strength and stability for your device.

INCLUDED HARDWARE

Each AMPS Ball includes 4x Allen bolts which thread into the metal backing plate resulting in an easy installation. That means no nuts or washers to fumble with.

INDUSTRY-STANDARD AMPS PATTERN

Hole locations are in the standard AMPS pattern of 30mm x 38mm (1.181” x 1.496”) so this will mount to anything with the AMPS hole configuration.

BUILD QUALITY & MATERIALS

The base is made from precision laser-cut metal and features a thin rubber strip to help absorb and reduce unwanted vibrations as well as prevent scratching the mounting surface.

The 20mm machined ball is also made from metal and features grooves to help provide additional friction and grip so your device won't spin or move. It is directly compatible with our Carbon Fiber + Kevlar Mounting Arms, our GoPro Mount or our line of Nubby Edition device holders if you require a low profile installation.
