Communication out on the trails is key. Our handheld radio + mic combo holder features all metal construction and a graduated slot to accommodate a wide variety of clip-style radios. The metal construction allows the "arms" to bend slightly inward or outward to provide the perfect grip for your handheld radio.
The opening on top allows for the belt clip on the backside of your radio to slide in and a notch catches the radio clip and further secures it in place.
PATENT PENDING
The bracket for the hand mic can be installed on either side of the handheld radio holder depending on your preference and setup. This can be done by simply loosening 3 bolts, flipping the bracket and reinstalling the bolts. Customize your Command Center the way you want it!
Like all of our mounts, our handheld radio + mic combo mount features a 20mm mounting ball and is compatible with our mounting arms (sold separately).
That means if you already have one of our bases and mounting arms, this handheld radio + mic combo mount is perfectly compatible.
Compatibility: your handheld radio’s belt clip must be installed in order to be compatible with our mount.

Bought the Rubigrid and a couple of arms to mount my ICOM 2730 radio in my Silverado. This is a GREAT solution and completely functional for my needs. It was super easy to install and provides me with easy, secure access to my radios on the road. The portable radio holder is currently being used to hold my handset until I work out another solution.

I really wanted to like this product, but I just couldn’t. Unless you have a cheap beofung style radio, this mount will not accommodate many common handheld radios and no pagers so far.
I hope Bulletpoint comes out with something more ham and emergency services compatible in the near future. I will probably use the arm and the ball mount from this set for my FT-400.
