I drive a lot of gravel roads and the washboard and bumps would always knock my phone holder off and the phone on the floor. But with this mount it stays put !

I got this for my 2017 RAM 2500- solid material & fits like it came from the factory. I liked the set up, (not sure about the longer arms yet), so much so that I got 2 20 mm headrest mount balls & IPad mounts for the kids in the back seat. The ONLY issue I would have is: the balls have raised, circular lines around them, which is good, but the clamps do not- they are smooth. Not sure how these will fare on backroads loaded with phones & IPads- we’ll see in Spring, but in my opinion both clamp & ball should be scored because the arms will still move & the instructions warn about tightening too much with F tool- also, pretty sure all promo photos I’ve looked at show the arms resting on edge of dash which will rattle- long winded & picky… sorry… but not at all a deal breaker and I plan to buy mounting balls for the truck bed for camping.. again, quality craftsmanship, great customer service and fast shipping so I would highly recommend.
